10-Minute Pom Pom Planner Clip
I’m testing the waters with something new to the blog: Dollar Store Crafts. All of them will still be yarn-related. They will require yarn or crochet skills to finish. But they will feature upcycled, decorated, or repurposed items I find at the dollar store or thrift store.
I LOVE my local Dollar Tree. I spend a lot of time wandering around in there, looking for cool items I can use for crafts or ways to get creative and/or organized.
This week, I picked up these GIANT paper clips in the stationary section. They were marketed as “bookmarks.” They had these ugly poms on them already, so I decided that I could do better and go bigger. These are the perfect scrap busting pom pom planner clips!
Everyone knows I love planner clips. 🙂
And what could be greater than a stash busting project

These are the perfect DIY yarn crafts for the office

Pom-Pom Planner Clip Tutorial
If you don’t have a pom pom maker, here is a tutorial on how to make one out of cardboard. Or you can purchase one on Amazon here. I use the Susan Bates simple Pom-Pom makers, but there are lots on the market that are fancier.

Ta-da! Easy, fast, and fun, right? What a great way to add a splash of color to my planner! And it goes great with my gel pens!
