Construction
Abner the Alligator is a no sew crochet amigurumi pattern, which means there is no seaming and it’s all in one piece! All pieces of him are worked off of the main body.
Even though he’s no sew, that doesn’t mean that some extra help wouldn’t be nice.
The premium version of this pattern includes helpful photo tutorials that can help make crocheting this pattern even easier. There are also checkboxes for each row, so that you never lose your place! You can grab the deluxe version of this pattern in my shops.

Hi there. I love this alligator!! My biggest issue is how do I hide the seam when attaching the snout to the head/body? Is this explained more clearly with the purchased pattern? Thanks!
There really shouldn’t be a visible seam, so you might be attaching it on the other side of the work. Hold up your work with his eyes “right side up” and hold the snout where it needs to be. Make sure it is on the outside of the work, so when you work into it, your hook will go into the snout first, then the body.
I am just not understanding how to do the head after connecting the eyes and snout. Is there a picture of it? Or a video?
oh this is such a cute pattern and so easy to follow. thanks for sharing.
How do you attach the snout to the head and then do row 9 so head/body is worked behind the snout?
this confused me a bit too but you have to connect both sides of the snout! then you can just work the next row as normal
can you please show the alignment of the bobble stitch from the back.
