The Dragonmakerโ€™s Festival is coming โ€” December 1stโ€“5th โ€” and itโ€™s packed with dragons, crochet magic, and exclusive deals.

Whether youโ€™re a maker, a collector, or just here for the fun, thereโ€™s something for everyone. And yesโ€ฆ there are freebies too! Each day weโ€™ll release a new downloadable surprise to spark your creativity, from printable adoption certificates to dice-based dragon design games.

Freebies Each Day

Even if youโ€™re just stopping by for a little dragon joy, the festival has something for you:

  • Dragon Adoption Certificate โ€“ Name your dragon and give them magical stats.
  • Roll-A-Dragon Game โ€“ Roll for wings, tails, horns, and color to design your own unique dragon.
  • Coloring Sheetsโ€“ Keep your creativity flowing!
  • Dragon Egg Gift Tags โ€“ So fun!
  • Pattern Reflection Sheet – Perfect for recording what you learn for each pattern you follow.

Each freebie is available for 24 hours only โ€” so make sure to grab them as they appear!

5 Days of Deals (The Real Event)

While the freebies are fun, the festival is also your week to unlock exclusive discounts and special offers on some of my most popular products:

  • Day 1: Growing Up Dragon Pattern Bundle โ€“ Seven (7) of your favorite dragon patterns, all together at a huge discount!
  • Day 2: Amigurumi Attachment Mastery Course โ€“ master the skills that make your creations stand out.
  • Day 3: Deck the Halls With Dragons Pattern Bundle โ€“ featuring a NEW Dragon Wreath pattern!
  • Day 4: LIVE Dragon Wing Workshop โ€“ learn my method to make wings in any size or shape.
  • Day 5: Creative Freedom & Profitable Plush Courses Open โ€“ see the newly restructured course formats and grab a free wing workshop if you enroll that day.

Each deal lasts 24 hours only, making it a festival of creativity and opportunity you wonโ€™t want to miss.

How to Participate

Day 1 Freebie!

Day 1’s freebie is a cute, printable Certificate of Dragon Adoption! Write out who the dragon is for, give them a name (or leave it blank for the giftee), and let them add in facts about its personality, and danger level (ranging from cuddly to “handle with oven mitts”).

Day 2 Freebie!

Today’s freebie is an adorable (and meditative) coloring page, featuring dragons on a yarn background! It’s complex and fun to color with colored pencils or (my personal favorite) gel pens. So while you are working on your Amigurumi Attachment Mastery mini-course you got for 50% off today, you can take breaks to color!

Day 3 Freebie!

To go along with today’s awesome bundle, Deck the Halls With Dragons, I made some Dragon Egg Gift Tags for you to add to your draconic gifts this season! Enjoy!

Day 4 Freebie!

Today’s Freebie is a fun one! Have you ever wanted to make a dragon but couldn’t decide what he would look like? This PDF game, Roll-A-Dragon, uses dice to help you decide! And it can even challenge you to make new, exciting, dragon-tastic creatures! You can use the LIVE Dragon Wing Workshop (Today’s awesome deal!) to help you craft your wings!

Day 5 Freebie!

The last freebie of the Festival is a great tool that I hope will really help your craft as you learn more and more about amigurumi. The Pattern Reflection Sheet is actually straight out Next-Level Amigurumi Design. It is designed to help you read patterns, reflect on what you liked and didn’t like, and (if you are in Profitable Plush) it will help guide your own writing style as you become an ami designer yourself.

  1. Thank you for all freebies and discounts!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  2. Katy Koenen says:

    Kati,
I’m absolutely in love with your patterns, and was delighted with the results of my first attempt at arigarumi using your pattern ((Ulysses the Unicorn). I’m also thrilled with the Roll a Dragon character sheet. My husband is a recreational therapist (https://rpg.llc & https://rpgresearch.com) who uses role-playing games as his therapeutic modality, so it’s an especially great thing for us.)

I have most, if not all, of your dragon patterns already. However, I’d be very interested in specific patterns for each of the options on the Roll-a-Dragon sheet, so that I can easily mix and match.

    Thank you

    1. I’m so glad you are enjoying the world of amigurumi and that I get to be a part of it. I love the idea of doing patterns for each of the dragon options — in fact something like it has always been in my “wish to design” list. For now, it will remain a design challenge for many of my design students, but maybe in the future I can make something similar for artists. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. The dragon Adoption certificate is the absolute cutest thing ever! Thanks so much for sharing some freebies with us who are monetarily challenged ๐Ÿ’œ
