I have so much fun putting these treasure hunts together — and it seems like you all love them just as much! Every time a new one launches, the excitement in the comments, the clue-chasing, and the support you give one another make it such a joy to watch.
Each hunt is a little different — sometimes you’re hunting for hidden hearts, sometimes rainbow letters, sometimes mischievous owls — but there’s always a special amigurumi pattern waiting at the end. It’s one of my favorite ways to share a bit of extra magic with you all throughout the year.
I host a new treasure hunt every few months, so if you missed this one, don’t worry — another adventure is always just around the corner!

Event: Nogard’s Missing Hoard — Crochet Treasure Hunt
Dates: Monday, April 6th – Sunday, April 20th
Daily Releases: 7 days of new hidden gems that lead to steps in the Nogard the Dragon Pattern. (Days 1–7)
Catch-Up Window: All gems remain findable until the event ends
How It Works:
- A new hidden object appears on the blog each day (first seven days)
- Click it to unlock the day’s pattern piece (only available during the hunt!)
- Each success page reveals one secret letter
- Collect all seven letters to redeem the final prize!

Fine Print: This hunt acts as a sort of “crochet-a-long.” Each day, you will get a piece of the Nogard the No-Sew Dragon pattern! You will get the pieces of the first 7 days, then you’ll have another week to finish the dragon before the free pieces disappear.
Past Treasure Hunts
Kati is a crochet pattern designer, dragon obsessive, and certified geek who has been turning yarn into fantasy creatures since 2016. Her patterns lean heavily toward dragons, fantasy beasts, and whatever her brain decides is a good idea at 2am. She is proudly anti-AI crochet and very pro-finishing-your-WIPs (she’s working on it).
