Holiday Binge-Worthy Movies and TV For Crocheters
So, what am I watching this holiday season? This year, I’m diving into a mix of Christmas classics and cozy winter tales to keep me in the festive spirit while crocheting. There’s nothing better than curling up with some yarn, a hot drink, and a good holiday movie or TV show to help the creative juices flow.
I’ve put together a list of my favorite Christmas and winter holiday movies (and a few TV shows) that are perfect for binge-watching while crocheting. Some are heartwarming, some are hilarious, and others are just beautifully crafted stories that pair perfectly with a cozy crafting session.
I definitely watch more movies this time of year than TV shows.
I’ve marked a few of my favorites with stars. Enjoy! 🎄
Christmas & Winter Holiday TV Shows
“Gilmore Girls” (2000-2007)
If you need a cozy, feel-good show to keep you company while crocheting, Gilmore Girls is it! The winter and holiday episodes are especially perfect for setting a festive mood. The first episode starts with the first snow in Stars Hallow, so it always makes me think of winter holidays.
“The Santa Clauses” (2022-present)
A continuation of The Santa Clause movie trilogy, this TV series brings back Tim Allen as Scott Calvin (aka Santa Claus). It’s festive, funny, and packed with holiday magic—ideal for some light-hearted holiday crocheting.
“The Great British Baking Show: Holidays” (2016-present)
For a relaxing yet festive vibe, this baking competition is filled with holiday treats, warm moments, and delightful contestants. It’s perfect for background viewing while crocheting!
