Description
This is a PATTERN for a Ponytail Newsboy Cap. It has a large hole in the top to accommodate a messy bun or ponytail.
All patterns are written in US terms using Craft Yarn Council abbreviations.
This is my take on the ponytail-friendly hat, this version adds a little flair, with a brim and a button flap. This hat fits like a beanie and should cover the ears to keep warm.
Confident Beginner. Need to have knowledge of single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), and front post double crochet (fpdc).
Gauge
2.5 inches x 2.5 inches: 7 dc stitches x 6 rows

½ skein (150 yds) Red Heart Super Saver in Buff Fleck
I (5.5 mm) hook
Yarn Needle
2 – 12 mm buttons
