This is a PATTERN for crochet only, designed to help you make your very own Textured Dragon Egg!
All patterns are written in English, in US terms, using Craft Yarn Council abbreviations.
The Textured Dragon Egg Premium Pattern 2.0 is designed to be easy to read. Whether you are a confident beginner or an expert plushy artist, this pattern comes equipped with everything you need to succeed. When you are finished with your project you will have learned new and useful skills for your art form and created a beautiful piece to cherish.

You Need to Know: chains (ch), single crochet (sc), increases and decreases. Be eager to learn and ready to have fun!
You Will Practice Intermediate Techniques:
- How to shape using increases and decreases
- How to work an alternating stitch pattern in the round
- How to add texture to a 3D object
Supplies
- Big Twist Value yarn, 100% acrylic, worsted weight, 380 yds/6 oz/170 g, Any Desired Color: Main Color (MC), 1 ball.
- G (4.00 mm) hook
- Large plastic/foam/paper Easter Egg, 6”, 8” or 10” tall.
- Polyfil stuffing (if not using plastic egg)
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
Measurements
Small: 6.5” tall x 12.5” circumference at widest point
Medium: 8.5” tall x 17.5” circumference at widest point
Large: 10.5” tall x 22.5” circumference at widest point
